I was nearby on the weekend while waiting for the Acne Archive store to open and decided to pop in. There was inventive art through this small museum culminating with an outdoor sculpture garden on the roof. Unless you are a huge art fan, or there is a temporary exhibit you want to see, it’s probably okay to skip this place.

Very nice modern art museum in the middle of Stockholm. Usually have very inspired choices of exhibits. Go see the Dick Bengtsson exhibition if it’s on!

I went to view the exhibit- Master of Couture – Azzedine Alaïa" ... dedicated to the art of haute couture and tailoring. The deliberately minimalist design of the exhibit allowed Alaïa's creations to take center stage, each piece a testament to his genius. We were immediately struck by the sculptural quality of his couture; the way he chiseled and shaped fabric to highlight the body's form. Many of his iconic designs were on display, for the first time in the Nordics! The display clearlt emphasized the clean lines and meticulous details. IIt was a rare and intimate glimpse into the mind of a true master.

Perfect weekend place. Great terrace on the roof (for summer). Best coffee in the cafe Guld. Exhibitions are changing periodically. Main part is copy of Sven-Harry’s villa on the 6th floor.

The museum is extremely small and is not worth the journey there plus a 130 krones entrance fee. There is literally a couple of rooms with contemporary art by no names and a cinema room. Just by contrast, Fotografiska costs around the same and has floors of world famous stuff. There is a "museum" on top floor but you can only see the interiors from the corridor window, which is weird. The ad said that the terrace offers a 360 degree view, which is true, but there is nothing to see there, just a part of a park and some residential buildings. The cafe is grossly overpriced, we paid 145 krones for a small portion of a "fish soup" which literally had 3 microscopic pieced of fish in it and was quite bland overall. I regret visiting this place and I don't recommend it.
